Opportunity for More Time

Today there are boundless opportunities to get more out of your Internet marketing  business.

Years back when the Internet first started, an Internet marketing business meant knowing everything.  If you didn’t know how to you were lost. You really needed to know how to function in computer land.  You had to find the information you needed and take a whole bunch of time to learn how to.

It wasn’t easy and still isn’t easy to learn how to do certain things on the Internet in order for you to earn money online.  True as time has gone by some things have gotten a lot easier to do however today we don’t have to know it all.

The main thing is to know how Internet marketing works.  We don’t need to learn how to do graphics, make squeeze pages, sales pages, eBook covers, disks,  etc…  if we don’t want to anymore.

If you want to do most or all the work yourself that’s great but just let me point out from a business point of view that time is money or you might just simply want to have more free time.

Whatever the case outsourcing is time saving and lets a load off.  It just simply gives you more time to do what you want to do by letting you get what you need to do done and away with.

We don’t need to know everything.  The Internet has changed.  You don’t need to know or learn everything there is to know in computer land in order to function on the Internet today and earn some money.

You can now  outsource your work for the cheap and get good quality work done for ANYTHING you need!  The beauty is you can outsource all your work or whatever work you choose.

The ways of the old days on the Internet are gone, even if you are a computer wiz and know everything  the bottom line is that outsourcing saves time so you can do other things.

I’m not going to get in to the nitty griddy about outsourcing here.  Here is a link I’m going to give you to your doorway to everything outsourcing.  Guaranteed to enlighten!  We are talking a great smooth flowing enjoyable interview with Dawn Kay and the queen of outsourcing Kathy Dobson.

http://dawnkaysblog.com/outsourcing-tips-and-tricks-kathy-dobson-interview/

If you click on the link you will get a wealth of information about outsourcing!  You don’t need to go anywhere else and waste time!

You don’t have to get to know or do all the tech stuff anymore, others can do it for you.   As a result, today your work can flow so much easier.  Your work on the Internet can be channeled differently for better results than ever before.  Now we all have the opportunity to take all the tech weight off our backs.

The Internet has changed and is changing everything we do. There are still people out there not into computers because knowing some computer things can be confusing.

Yes, trying to figure it all out can take hours upon hours, days, weeks, months or even years of your time.  That’s why there are people who give up on starting or improving their business. That’s why there are people who give up on their dreams.

The time has come where you can get anything done you need to to start your own Internet marketing business or improve your existing business at an incredible low cost with or without that much computer knowledge.

Unlike the beginning days of the Internet it is now possible to have a successful Internet Marketing business with out knowing all the tech hoopla.  Now is the time to leave all the tech stuff to someone else so you can move onward to have your business succeed to the highest heights.

It’s come to the point where anything you need to do can be done for you so you can keep on finding creative ways for you to improve and expand your business.

The Internet has changed the landscape and will continue to change the landscape.  Notice newspapers getting smaller?  Notice the United States post office wanting to cut mail delivery to five days? Notice telephone books becoming obsolete?  Notice college courses offered online to get a degree? Notice you can now take a defensive driving course online to reduce your car insurance?  The list goes on and on.  Take a good look around you.

Get others to do all the tech work for you. The cost of getting all this done is not expensive.  This is the NOW of the ever changing and evolving Internet.

    Hey Terry,

Boy, I know how it was when I first came online. I was so overwhelmed trying to learn how to do all of this stuff. It’s confusing and scary if you’ve never done anything like this before.

I heard Dawn’s interview with Kathy and she has really mastered this area. I’ve hired a few people to do some things for me as well because I either didn’t have the time or wasn’t knowledgeable of how some things are done and the time it will take to figure it out will put you much further behind in your work.

Great suggestion and thanks for sharing this Terry. Now, enjoy your week my friend.

It’s good to know you’ve listened to the interview and know what you’re doing when it comes to outsourcing.

If anyone is considering outsourcing they really need to hear the interview with Dawn Kay and Kathy Dobson.

Knowledge is power and if you don’t know what you are doing as Linda states below you can get burnt.

    Hi there, Terry!

Dawn and Kathy are 2 wonderful people that I have lost contact with due to me not being here, so thanks for this post :)

You mention “Notice telephone books becoming obsolete?” – Not here, I get at least 6-8 phone books a year, my last one coming in last month….it’s CRAZY! They put out white pages in one book, business listings in another and then yet another for yellow pages – why waste the paper? And from not only 1 phone company but multiples and not from one area, but multiples as well. Here the phone company is wasting their paper in my opinion – totally crazy.

Outsourcing can be risky if you don’t know who you are dealing with, but I am going to go check it out.

    Thanks!

    Hey there to you Linda,

How goes it? All good I hope with you. As far as I’m concerned phone books are obsolete.

You are so right they are just a waste of paper. You think there are still a lot of people with out Internet?

I don’t think its a lot but I get phone books too (not as many as you though)- just to put them back outside in the garbage.

Very important point you bring up Linda. If you don’t know what you are doing you can get burnt.

That is why listening to the interview is very important. It explains it all!

    Hey Terry,

Have to say I used to think that every marketer did all their activities themselves or at least most of them but then I realized many big marketers barely even know how to operate a powerpoint presentation.

That’s when I started thinking that many things may be actually just outsourced if not everything and now that most people already know this, the thing comes down to “when are you going to start outsourcing and what parts?”

I was a bit reluctant to start because I normally like to have everything controlled but honestly, there are sometimes that I need that time to do something else (maybe something that I can’t even outsource) and secondly because somebody else might do a better job than I probably could in the first place.

So spot on my man, I already outsourced a few things and came up with some interesting results, will talk about it as soon as I can make some time for it.

    Sergio

PS. Thanks for sharing that interview between Dawn and Kay.

I used to think the same thing. As the saying goes, things change. Outsourcing has become very popular today and a lot of marketers outsource.

Just like knowing Internet marketing, knowing outsourcing if done right can be very beneficial. That is why the interview between Dawn Kay and Kathy Dobson is very enlightening.

We must always control and check the work others are doing for us. Picking the right people is very important.

Once you get to know the person who is outsourcing for you, there comes a point where there is trust.

Outsourcing is easy once you know how. Thanks for coming over and leaving your views Sergio. Catch you later,

    Well Hello Terry

Thinking you can do everything and the reality that yes you can, eventually but your time is limited is the one wake up call everyone needs.

All you need to be is yourself, develop your big vision into a realistic plan then go and find the people to make it real.

I listened to an interview with one of Rich Schefren’s students and they admitted that it took a while to let go and accept that the more successful you become the more outwardly stupid you appear to others. As they moved forwards they had to accept that they needed to know the right people and not the right information.

    Hi Terry

When I first started this internet journey I must admit to being dismayed at all the things there were to learn. Slowly but surely I have mastered many a task but am still a novice in certain areas.

Luckily I have two great contacts on the technical side but as you mentioned there is no reason why outsourcing should not be an option for those tasks we either find too difficult or time consuming.

As regards telephone books etc becoming obsolete, I agree entirely, our own Yellow Pages and local trade directories have reduced in size year on year and it’s only a matter of time before they cease publication altogether.

Outsourcing your work is just like hiring a good or good workers. You are always the boss so you must always just check everything that is being done for you. It is so good to know you can get things done that you don’t know how to do and save time as well.

About phone books, I would strongly suggest that people with out access to the Internet sign up to get phone books this way we could all save so much paper, especially now with all this Going Green we hear about all over. I wounder why this isn’t so?

  7. Interesting Terry!

Each time I read more about Internet Marketing when I visit blog like yours and other friends online, it sounds more interesting. Perhaps I am not really from the marketing niche I guess so I feel this ways. :)

Yes indeed, the Internet has provided so many options for all of us now that you really don’t need to meet people face to face for your work any longer. And the fact that you also get to learn from one another – just as you mentioned Dawn here who must have shared content that you found worthwhile, which doesn’t happen in the normal offline world.

However, there are a few things that were better obsolete and buried in the golden era too. I do wish there were few channels on our television that wouldn’t drive people mad about watching it all the time. And I would any day prefer receiving a hand written mail than an email – I guess it’s always more personalized. But yes, everything changes for the better and we also need to move with time.

    Thanks for sharing. :)

    Hey Terry,

I totally agree. I think that’s a huge misconception about the internet marketing industry that you have to learn and do ALL there is to it.
The name of online marketing game is leverage and automatize (is that a word? :) ) most of the stuff. Using software and letting others help you is key.
Outsourcing task is the only way to clone ourselves.

    Great post, once again.

    Hi Terry,

Thank you so much for this tip and link. I so agree with you there are some things that we do not need to bother doing at all.

I remember years ago my family was flabbergasted when I refused to learn how to change a tire while everybody else knew how. When my mother asked me why I didn’t want to learn how to change a tire I said because I don’t ever intend to change one. EVER! Are you kidding me? There are plenty of services that will change the tire for you, no need to put yourself in a serial killer’s harmful way changing you own tire when your are a female right? :)

Well, it’s the same thing with online service. Why would you kill yourself learning and applying things that you can pay a resonable price for? I don’t see any reason why.

    Thanks for this, Terry :)

  10. Hi Terry,

I agree with you completely that there are more opportunities today than say 4 or 5 yrs ago. More and more innovative ways of earning from the net have cropped up over the years and of course this has also taken away most of the time we have to do things. Indeed, speed is needed with more and more competition in the market.

When I started online, there were a few experienced internet marketers who were ready to teach you most of the things you need to know. But I must say the few available really did their best.

of course, I did most of the things you mentioned myself not really because there were not those who could have done it for a token fee but because I started on a shoestring budget. My first website was set up by myself after spending weeks learning how to code html.

Given the opportunity today I would gladly out sourced it for like you said, time is money and the time spent on trying to know how to do these things could be spent on other profitable aspects of the business.

Yes, there are experiences to gain but with the time available for running a business these days, outsourcing these things will be a better option.

    Thanks for sharing.

Great article, I just started outsourcing more in my business because I don’t have a lot of extra time.

Your article definitely hit home. When I first got started with my business I would waste so much time trying to figure out how to do things. This meant that I would usually head on over to YouTube to find a tutorial video.

Now I find myself looking for someone who can do what I need done. I just need to find a list of outsourcers that I use and keep it on a spreadsheet so I can turn to it whenever I need to get something done.

Thanks for sharing this information. Have a wonderful day.
