Hi everyone, what a ride it’s been.  I never thought I would manage to get over 200 comments on my 100 comment challenge blog post- click on the link to that post because it can be a great insightful learning experience about ClickBank.

Now that the 100 comment challenge is over, I can get back to the John Thornhill Masterclass Program, I left off at week 19.  The 100 comment challenge has put everything to a halt, with over 200  comments replying and social bookmarking everything, it has been some ride.

I’ve been writing course summaries on this blog about the John Thornhill Masterclass program.  Check them out and learn about marketing online.   If you want in depth information and are serious about Internet Marketing become a student.  You won’t regret it.  In fact by applying yourself you will advance to heights you never thought were possible.  John Thornhill is a great mentor.

Just take a look at this blog, it would not be possible if it were not for the John Thornhill Masterclass Program.  This is only one example, there is so much more to this course.

I’ve gotten up to week 19 with the lesson summaries and will be continuing very soon.  Right now I have to finish my eBook called Learn the eBook Business (watch out for it).

I want to thank everyone who participated in the 100 comment challenge.  Your comments truly have given me  some very good insight about ClickBank.

I truly hope the comments have also helped others as well because this is what this blog is all about.  It makes my day when others benefit, what a great feeling!

The 100 comment challenge is a great success, not only did we all get great comments on our blogs, got social bookmarked and made some good friends but most of all it was a good learning experience for everyone.

Let’s keep the 100 comment list alive and make even more friends.  What we learn can be invaluable plus, we can all become stronger.

Hi all, what a ride!  The 100 comment challenge is a great success!  My sticky post till the end of August  Sell you ebook on its own or put it on ClickBank?  What do you think is a major success.  I have to date 178 comments listed on my blog, half of which are my replies.  There is still some more comments to go, I hope.

Now, I will be bookmarking all the commentators on twitter.  Then I can get back to the John Thornhill Masterclass course.  The 100 comment challenge has put the masterclass course to a halt for me but it has been some ride and learning experience.

Through the comments on my 100 comment challenge post,  I’ve gotten so  much insight that I’m adding some more points to my ebook called Learn The eBook Business.

I truly hope my 100 comment challenge blog post comments will enlighten  everyone who reads, it sure enlightened me.  All the comments are very ClickBank and affiliate marketing educational.

I want to point out Barbara Harvey who did some research and wrote a very informational blog post about ClickBank.  The information on her blog post I believe not too many people know about when it comes to Clickbank.  It is very important.

I my opinion I’m not saying ClickBank is bad, I not saying ClickBank is good.  What I am saying is ClickBank is set up where  you have to have the right in demand digital product done the right way, done easy for others to market,  with the right people hopping on board to market it and the info product will be a success on ClickBank.

Please leave a comment so perhaps we can all get some insight about selling your ebook on its own or put it on ClickBank.  I’d like to know what everyone thinks after reading this post in order for everyone to learn?

Lets say you know what you are going to write about for an ebook project.  You’ve done your research and you are now putting your plan together for ClickBank insertion.

You feel like you jumped over important hurdles knowing what you are going to write about and what you are going to do.  You feel into it and start according to your plan.

Then when you are at arriving at the finish line as you normally think about what you are about to complete your mind starts in just like a little guy on your shoulder telling you, are you sure you want to put this  ebook on ClickBank?

What if the ebook sells like hot cakes on it’s own.  Why would you want to give out commissions?  Other people on the web are doing it and earning a lot.   Just think about how much more you can make if you kept all the earnings.  Sell the ebook on its own or put it on ClickBank?

I write this post because perhaps this thought may have come across many marketer’s minds as they are approaching the finish line to their ebook project.  It would be interesting to see what everyone thinks.

Think about it, having your very own ebook on the Internet.  When it comes to selling your own created informational product, the product is unique to you and is not available on the Internet except through you only.  You’ve done your research and know there exists good chances of it selling well.

Also the little guy on your shoulder may make you rethink about what kind of related links you inserted into the ebook?  Would you have only your own related links from your own products or would you have related affiliate links within or maybe a mixture of both?  What would be best?

My view is to eventually utilize all the ways together in your info products in order to bring maximum earnings as a whole, but what do you think is the best way once you have your own Informational product created?  Sell it on ClickBank or on it’s own?

There are many  informational products out there being sold on their own, not using ClicBank, why?  It would be very insightful as to why that is being everyone tends to favor ClickBank and go the affiliate way  straight right off the starting line.

By asking questions,  is how you get great insight into things.  I thought I would mix the sauce around a bit to see what others think about all this.  It can be very interesting for all of us.

We would all get some good interesting insight if we all left a comment to see what our thoughts are.  Please feel free to add your ideas.

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by.  Yes I’m still alive and kicking.  It’s taking longer than I expected to keep up with the John Thornhill Masterclass program.  I make time everyday.  I will get over this hump as you will see.  I also know that in the future there will be many more humps to over come.   It’s just the way life is.

I’m calm and know I will finish this course.  I will continue to tell you all about the course and my experiences as I have been.  I want you to know I have no choice and have to go at my own pace in order to get things done the right way.

I feel like once I get my ebook and sales page completed I can begin to speed things up naturally.  The nature of what I’m doing is slowing me down right now. My ebook and sales page are at the final stages but boy are the final stages long to finish.  I’m even thinking of adding another chapter to my ebook.

The good side of things is that I’ve taught my self how to do graphics and full sales page all on my own instead of outsourcing.  I didn’t want to order graphics because I wanted to learn how it’s done.  I spent a lot of time going back and doing it again and again if necessary, even again.  Yes it was a pain but I’ve learned how to do it.

It did take up a lot of my time and I wouldn’t stop till I got them exactly the way I wanted.  It did not want them to look cheesy and non professional.  If it wound up that way then, I would have went and ordered graphics.

I didn’t have to order graphics, through hard work I’ve succeeded all on my own.  When it comes around to do graphics again for another product, it won’t be as hard.   Know that learning took time and doing took a lot of time as well.

I can take what I learned and possibly create another product soon about ebook graphics, sales pages and banners.  Food for thought for another future product?  See how things always pop into your head in this business for you to monetize on.

As a beginner at this using and also learning Photoshop it wasn’t easy for me but I am happy, very happy I did it!  Like anything else once you know how it’s done it’s not as bad as you may think.  The more you do it the easier it gets.  Also the learning never stops.

It would probably take someone who knows how to use Photoshop no time to create an ebook cover and banner.  I don’t what to tell you how long it took me to do this but I don’t care how long it took,  I DID IT!  What do you think?

It’s all about determination.  Now all I have to do  so I can continue with the John Thornhill Master Class Program is finish the ebook and sales page at my own pace.

Despite taking a lot of time learning and doing my own graphics, the John Thornhill Masterclass course is more than half way through now, I think this is the part of the masterclass course where the tough get going and the weak just give up.

I’m noticing the master class forum  isn’t as busy as it used to be than at the beginning.   Also some student’s aren’t posting to their blog’s the way they used  to.  I make time to post to my blog regardless if anyone reads it or not because I aim to succeed.

I go to other students blog’s and leave comments.  Getting people to comment on my blog is like pulling teeth now.

Then I go to other blogs on Internet marketing and leave comments, no one really responds back to my blog.  That’s Ok because it’s not the only way to promote your blog, you know.  It’s just one of the many ways.  Although you do need to be active in  this.

What I need to do is work my blog by leaving links to my blog in all my works, articles, youtube, facebook, my list and on and on.  It will come.  Not just your blog but all your works must be promoted correctly.

Do not take this the wrong way.  I’m not being negative here.  All I’m saying is that the tough get going and the weak give up.

The John Thornhill Master Class program is worth every penney,  if you are going to get and take this course, be prepared to work.  That’s what life is all about in anything you do.  You bust your rear end to enjoy the rewards.  There is no easy street.

If you are looking for a job no one is going to give you money for no work.  The same goes for an online business although the work can be so much better because you are working for yourself.

So what I’m saying here is when you get all those emails or come across advertisements all hyped up to make you big  money today, know that it’s all a way to make your brain think that big easy money can be obtained easily- right now.

Don’t get sucked in to all the hype.  Be serious if you are going to start your own online business.  It’s just like getting a job except that you are creating your own job for yourself full circle to call your own business.

The best part about it is when it comes to the ebook business the cost to start up verses traditional business is really NOTHING and the potential to earn money is enormous, if done right.

People need to see the light about the ebook business excluding all the hype and that’s what my ebook Learn the eBook Bussiness is going to be all about.

The test will come when things get hard.  That’s when the Tough get going and the weak give up.

Hi all, never a dull moment with the John Thornhill Masterclass program.  I’m in the process of doing my sales page.  I am running slightly behind.  I am not too far behind though so I believe can catch up easily.  My ebook is at the tail end so I am not worried.  I am grateful there is good productive work to do.

I remember before I signed up with the Masterclass course, I didn’t have much work to do because I didn’t know what direction to take.  Now that I have direction there is always something productive to do.

Last week we worked on our sales page headline, introducing ourselves, write about the problems our product will solve and start introducing our product.

In week 19 we students are continuing with our sale page but first John Thornhill reminds us how much we have learned and how far we have come.

We learned how to set up a blog, how to create content, create a product, build subscribers, how to create word documents into PDFs, how to edit webpages, how to FTP and more.

We also are meeting and interacting with people online building relationships through forums especially, the Masterclass forum.  All these relationships can last a life time.

John again stresses that it’s OK to go at your own pace with this course so don’t rush it.  If you fall behind, don’t worry.  What is important is the you finish the course.

In week 19 we students learned about:

• Adding Bullets and benefits to our sale page

• Testimonials

• The offer to our sales page

Bullets and benefits: John Thornhill instructs us to refer to the free ebook we students got from Randy Smith called Sales Letter ABC and follow how his example sales page is set up.  That’s what we’ve been doing throughout sales page creation.  There Randy explains how and what to do along with John Thornhill’s videos.  Once we introduced our product John Thornhill shows us how to add our ebook graphic to the sales page and continue introducing our product a bit more.  Then he shows us different ways we can add bullets.  He also shows us how to add a table and change it’s size to make the bullets look better.  A table keeps all your information on a web page together and you can make the content start where you choose.

Testimonials: Once again John instructs us to reread certain parts of Randy Smiths ebook and sample sale page. Here John explains the different ways we can get testimonials for our ebook.  John Thornhill explains to us to use Clickbank, various forums and the Masterclass forum.  He explains the reason why someone would want to give you a testimonial and why they are important to you and the person leaving you the testimonial.  John also gives us some testimonials templates we can use.  Testimonial templates give our testimonials a good look.  John Thornhill instructs us to make a testimonial folder for these templates in our Masterclass folder.  He also tells us that when we do get testimonials to keep them in note pad and insert and keep them in our testimonial folder.  Then John Thornhill shows us how to edit the testimonial template we chose to our liking.

The Offer: Once again John instructs us to reread certain parts of Randy Smiths ebook and sample sale page.  When you are finished with all the previous parts of your sales page it’s time to make the offer.  When a person is reading your sales page you must create high value so the cost of your product will be perceived as high so when the offer comes around you can explain that even though the value of your product is high and the cost should be high the price is low.  When people read your sales page and you’ve done everything right and created high value and a high perceived cost and offer a low price the chances of making a sale is high.

Hi everybody,  welcome to week 18 of the John Thornhill Masterclass Program.   Before I start writing about this week, I want everyone to know I finally finished the first draft of my ebook called Learn The eBook Business.

Taking action and pushing against the animal called failure, I’ve been able to continue working with the Masterclass program while not forgetting about the ebook.  Yes, I consider failure a beast that will eat you up and consume you if you let it.  If for what ever reason failure comes to you and attacks you, it can never hurt you badly if you get inside it’s head and learn from it.  It’s all about mind set.

Getting back to my ebook,  as I’ve stated many times before, I’m not rushing it.  I have yet to re-read, work graphics and let others read it to get feed back.  I’m also still at the stage of thinking about adding to it.  The mind is a funny thing, I must feel complete with it.

The main thing I want everyone to know, I am over the huge hump.  While all this is going on in my head I can continue with the Masterclass course and start working on my sales page and keep on telling you whats going on.  I am going at my own pace and feel if it was not for constant action, failure would have started to have its  “claws” in me with all that is going on in my life.

Week 18 of the John Thornhill Masterclass Program is the beginning of phase 3 of the masterclass course called Sales Page Creation.  Week 18 is titled Sales Page Creation part 1.

In part 1 of sales page creation there are 7 videos this week.

• Download Expression Web

• Arrange files and folders

• Basic html skills

• The head line

• Introduce yourself

• Outline the problem

• Introduce your product

Download Expression Web- The first thing John Thornhill  tells us students  is to download an html editor.  An html editor makes Internet web content.  Its a program that lets you create and work on web pages on your computer for the Internet.   In our case right now to create a sales page.  All web pages on the Internet are produced through html editors.  There are many html editors out there.  I use Dreamweaver.  John Thornhill uses Expression Web.

Arrange files and folders- John Thornhill instructs us to go into our Masterclass folder and create some more files we are going to need for our sales page project.

Basic html skills- In this video John Thornhill shows us basically how to open the html editor and use it.  He shows us how to insert a headline, pick fonts and colors, how to align,  insert bullets or numbers and  pictures.

The head line- In the free course John Thornhill got us from Randy Smith called Sales Letter ABC is included a copy template of a sales letter where we can see how a sales letter flows.  Here John explains that a headline should be three or four lines of  attention grabbing, hit you right between the eyes words to get people to turn themselves around and pay attention to what you are going to say.  Once we come up with our own unique headline John shows us how to insert it into our sales letter.

Introduce yourself- Next John Thornhill shows us how to simply introduce who we are in our sales letter.  Continue grabbing attention by stating who you are.  Give about three to four lines.   For example- From the desk of  Terry Conti, professional Internet Marketer/consultant and author.

Outline the problem- Next we are to outline the introduction and problem your product will solve.  Continue grabbing the interested reader’s attention by explaining the problems that exist, relate with the reader.

Introduce your product- Finally we are to present the solution to the problem by introducing your product.

There is a lot more to sales page creation but for this week we are to concentrate on getting the  headline right, introducing yourself,  start writing about the problem your product is going to solve and start to introduce our product.

John Thornhill ends this week by showing us students his sales pages so we can all get an idea and feel on how he sells his products and to see how sale pages flow.   He also suggests us to bounce ideas off each other at the Masterclass forum.

Hi everyone, week 17 of the John Thornhill Masterclass Program marks the end of phase two, product creation.  After this week we will be getting into phase 3 which will be sales page creation.

Week 17 is about final product creation steps and sales page preparation. My ebook is coming along well.  There is a lot to write about.  I’ve covered a great deal so far.  There is still a bit more to do.  I am not going to rush it.

In week 17 John Thornhill got us yet another free product ($37.00 value) to help us with our sales page creation.  The ebook we got is Sales Letter ABC written by Randy Smith.  I’m sure it will be another very informative much needed ebook to help us students.  Thank’s John and thank you Randy.

In this week’s assingnments we got three video’s :

• Arrange files and folders

• Produce ebook

• Read Sales Letter ABC

Arrange files and folders: John Thornhill starts off telling us students to relax if we are still not finished with our ebook.  We can move on with the course and come back to finishing our ebook anytime.  As we move into sales page creation our ebook product doesn’t have to be 100% complete. John Thornhill instructs us to go to our masterclass folder.  Within the masterclass folder we are to go to our ebook folder in my case the folder is called Learning the eBook Business and create folders within pertaining to our ebook such as an audio folder if we are going to have audio in our ebook, a video folder if we are going to have videos in our ebook, an images folder for our sales page, a raw files folder etc…  John Thornhill stresses to back up these files.   If something ever goes wrong we will not lose many, many hours of work (very important).

Produce ebook- In this video John shows us how to take our finished ebook  in Microsoft Word document or Open Office file document and convert it into a PDF file as our complete finished ebook.  Make sure you test all the links within.  If or when needed you need to make any changes or add to your ebook you are going to need to go back to the Microsoft Word document file or Open Office file and add or make changes from there and then again make the new conversion to  PDF.  When you do this delete the old PDF so you don’t mix up the PDFs or put it into the raw files folder and make sure you label accordingly to know which one is which.  I write my ebook in Microsoft Word then I copy it into Open Office and then I make the conversion to PDF.  I write in Microsoft Word because I like it’s functionality.  My version of Microsoft Word does not convert to PDF so I copy and paste my work into Open Office and convert to PDF.

Read Sales Letter ABC- In this video John explains when we students where at the beginning of ebook creation, we got the free ebook  Operation eBook to prepare us for our ebook creation process.  Now the same goes for our sales page creation process with Sales Letter ABC.  This will prepare us students for what is to come.

Hi everyone, thanks for visiting and welcome.  Yes I’m still working on my ebook.  Yes it’s coming along slowly.  Yes I am making progress.  Yes it will be finished.

I have to say with the John Thornhill Masterclass Program there is never a dull moment.  There is always something to learn, look up, research on the Internet, find out about.

You can go to the masterclass forum get help when needed develop relationships and learn even more.  There is also the Masterclass help desk which is just as valuable.  You have all the resources right in front of you.

The  key is you have to apply yourself.  You must be willing to work and your knowledge will grow.  You’ll even get to meet some very cool people.  The Masterclass program gives you a direction, it guides you, it makes you ask questions and gives you a very good way to get answers.  It does keep you busy and  productive, only if you apply yourself.  The best part is you can go at you own pace.

Week 16 of the John Thornhill Masterclass Program  is about adding value to your finished ebook.  Usually marketers finish their ebook and sell it with out realizing they can offer more value if they added video, audio or both.  Also provide work sheets and check lists.

Video- John Thornhill introduces us to what he uses to make instructional videos.  This is different than my blue video banner ad on the top right up there- Video Web Wizard.

Video Web Wizard is a real easy way to put any video you have on any web page you have or are creating without the use of Youtube.  You won’t  have a Youtube mark on your video.  It even creates a web page for you where you can easily insert your video.  This post is not about Video Web Wizard.  Click on the blue banner to get more information if you like.

To  record on screen activity and turn that activity into a video so you can show someone exactly how to do something John Thornhill uses a program called Camtasia.  It’s a bit pricey but it is a very useful tool to have.

Simply put, you can teach using Camtasia.  You are actually guiding people by the hand showing them how to do something through your voice and mouse movement.

Audio- A lot of people may not know this but windows comes with a voice recorder.  Look around for it by clicking on your start button and then go to all programs.  Then go to accessories  look for voice recorder.  If you can’t find it click on entertainment and it should be there.

If you don’t have a voice recorder  John Thornhill  shows us a place where you can go on the web and get one free.  You can make a voice file of you reading your ebook for those people who like hearing your ebook at home, in the car, at the park, etc…

John Thornhill also suggests interviewing an expert and gives us a good way to find one.  Once we find one John Thorhill shows us a free program we can use to set up the interview.

Work Sheets- Give people written instruction.  For example in day one do this, in day two you are going to need to do that or in week one do this and so on.

Check lists- If you are going to have work sheets it’s good to have check lists where you can check off your completed tasks such as we have in the Masterclass program.

When creating an ebook ask yourself if you can add video and/or audio, worksheets and check lists to increase value.

Hello everyone, thanks for visiting.

I’m still in the middle of working on my ebook.  It’s coming along slowly and as I stated before I am not into rushing it.  I want to thank all those who have been leaving me comments.  Your support is inspiring and makes me feel I’m not alone.  Thank you so very much.

As you all know life has a way of throwing things at you from all directions at times.  If you can’t relate to what I’m saying you must have passed on and are now in paradise.  God bless you.

I’ve decided to continue posting and continue with the John Thornhill Masterclass Program.  I am not going to have things hold me back.  While working on my ebook at my own pace I’m going to continue with the Masterclass course, continue learning, leaving blog posts and working on my Online business.  Life goes on.

Part of my Online business is leaving blog posts on how I’m progressing through the John Thornhill Masterclass Program.  I will continue to do so.   I am not going to have ebook creation hold me back and I’m not going to leave you hanging as well.

I will most definitely keep you posted on how my ebook is coming along but for now I will continue letting you know about the John Thornhill Masterclass Program.  If I believe there is anything important that you should know about when I actually go through week 15 I will not hesitate to let you know.

Week 15 is truly quite short and simple.  That’s good because it gives me more time to work on my ebook.   Week 15 is about completing ebook creation (final review).

There are no video’s again this week.  John wants us to have at least 2 or 3 people review our work, check for typos and grammar.  Ask these people to let you know what they think about your ebook and perhaps give you more ideas.

As always we are to keep on blogging, going to other blogs and leaving comments as well.  We are also to use the Masterclass forum for any help.

Hi everyone, how are you? Good I hope.  I want to say what a good feeling I have from my last post titled Stress.  It’s good to know that people can share good things with me and that I am able to share such things with other people.

Every time I get some sort of feedback from it, be it through comments on the blog, emails, on the Masterclass forum, It MAKES MY DAY.  People sharing good things with me passing it on to other people and knowing we are all getting something good out of it is a God send.

In Week 14 of the John Masterclass Program  we students are again to take off from last week working on creating our ebook informational product.  Last week we were to have our first draft of the ebook completed.  This week we are to finalize the first draft of our ebook informational product.

As a result there have been no videos last week and this week.  This week we are to read through our ebook and add to content we have already created such as a word here and there and even add full chapters if necessary.  John Thornhill says once you start reading what you created you will see you can add a lot more.  We are also to correct any grammar and typos.

Then John Thornhill says take a day or two off and come back to your ebook informational product.  He says, If you have a few days off you will find that when you return to your eBook your head is clear and you will have more ideas.

Then take another day or two off and repeat the process again for ideas.  Do this at least 3 times and you should have an ebook informational product that’s just about complete.

If we run into any problems we are to get in touch through to Masterclass help desk and/or the Masterclass forum.

I’ve got to tell everyone the problems I’m running into cannot be handled by the Masterclass forum or the Masterclass help desk.  I am doing my very best to complete my ebook informational product but I’m NOT GOING TO RUSH IT because I want to provide a quality product.

Life is throwing a whole bunch of stuff my way so what, it’s normal.  I want everyone to know  I’m am not going to rush my ebook and slap it together in order to stay on track with the Masterclass Program.  As John Thornhill states in the course it’s OK to fall behind.  The important thing is completing the course.

Now I’m not saying I am going to fall behind, but it’s starting to look that way.  Let’s see what happens.  I’ll keep you posted.  T.
