Hi everybody,  welcome to week 18 of the John Thornhill Masterclass Program.   Before I start writing about this week, I want everyone to know I finally finished the first draft of my ebook called Learn The eBook Business.

Taking action and pushing against the animal called failure, I’ve been able to continue working with the Masterclass program while not forgetting about the ebook.  Yes, I consider failure a beast that will eat you up and consume you if you let it.  If for what ever reason failure comes to you and attacks you, it can never hurt you badly if you get inside it’s head and learn from it.  It’s all about mind set.

Getting back to my ebook,  as I’ve stated many times before, I’m not rushing it.  I have yet to re-read, work graphics and let others read it to get feed back.  I’m also still at the stage of thinking about adding to it.  The mind is a funny thing, I must feel complete with it.

The main thing I want everyone to know, I am over the huge hump.  While all this is going on in my head I can continue with the Masterclass course and start working on my sales page and keep on telling you whats going on.  I am going at my own pace and feel if it was not for constant action, failure would have started to have its  “claws” in me with all that is going on in my life.

Week 18 of the John Thornhill Masterclass Program is the beginning of phase 3 of the masterclass course called Sales Page Creation.  Week 18 is titled Sales Page Creation part 1.

In part 1 of sales page creation there are 7 videos this week.

Download Expression Web- The first thing John Thornhill  tells us students  is to download an html editor.  An html editor makes Internet web content.  Its a program that lets you create and work on web pages on your computer for the Internet.   In our case right now to create a sales page.  All web pages on the Internet are produced through html editors.  There are many html editors out there.  I use Dreamweaver.  John Thornhill uses Expression Web.

Arrange files and folders- John Thornhill instructs us to go into our Masterclass folder and create some more files we are going to need for our sales page project.

Basic html skills- In this video John Thornhill shows us basically how to open the html editor and use it.  He shows us how to insert a headline, pick fonts and colors, how to align,  insert bullets or numbers and  pictures.

The head line- In the free course John Thornhill got us from Randy Smith called Sales Letter ABC is included a copy template of a sales letter where we can see how a sales letter flows.  Here John explains that a headline should be three or four lines of  attention grabbing, hit you right between the eyes words to get people to turn themselves around and pay attention to what you are going to say.  Once we come up with our own unique headline John shows us how to insert it into our sales letter.

Introduce yourself- Next John Thornhill shows us how to simply introduce who we are in our sales letter.  Continue grabbing attention by stating who you are.  Give about three to four lines.   For example- From the desk of  Terry Conti, professional Internet Marketer/consultant and author.

Outline the problem- Next we are to outline the introduction and problem your product will solve.  Continue grabbing the interested reader’s attention by explaining the problems that exist, relate with the reader.

Introduce your product- Finally we are to present the solution to the problem by introducing your product.

There is a lot more to sales page creation but for this week we are to concentrate on getting the  headline right, introducing yourself,  start writing about the problem your product is going to solve and start to introduce our product.

John Thornhill ends this week by showing us students his sales pages so we can all get an idea and feel on how he sells his products and to see how sale pages flow.   He also suggests us to bounce ideas off each other at the Masterclass forum.
