Hi all, never a dull moment with the John Thornhill Masterclass program.  I’m in the process of doing my sales page.  I am running slightly behind.  I am not too far behind though so I believe can catch up easily.  My ebook is at the tail end so I am not worried.  I am grateful there is good productive work to do.

I remember before I signed up with the Masterclass course, I didn’t have much work to do because I didn’t know what direction to take.  Now that I have direction there is always something productive to do.

Last week we worked on our sales page headline, introducing ourselves, write about the problems our product will solve and start introducing our product.

In week 19 we students are continuing with our sale page but first John Thornhill reminds us how much we have learned and how far we have come.

We learned how to set up a blog, how to create content, create a product, build subscribers, how to create word documents into PDFs, how to edit webpages, how to FTP and more.

We also are meeting and interacting with people online building relationships through forums especially, the Masterclass forum.  All these relationships can last a life time.

John again stresses that it’s OK to go at your own pace with this course so don’t rush it.  If you fall behind, don’t worry.  What is important is the you finish the course.

In week 19 we students learned about:

• Adding Bullets and benefits to our sale page

• Testimonials

• The offer to our sales page

Bullets and benefits: John Thornhill instructs us to refer to the free ebook we students got from Randy Smith called Sales Letter ABC and follow how his example sales page is set up.  That’s what we’ve been doing throughout sales page creation.  There Randy explains how and what to do along with John Thornhill’s videos.  Once we introduced our product John Thornhill shows us how to add our ebook graphic to the sales page and continue introducing our product a bit more.  Then he shows us different ways we can add bullets.  He also shows us how to add a table and change it’s size to make the bullets look better.  A table keeps all your information on a web page together and you can make the content start where you choose.

Testimonials: Once again John instructs us to reread certain parts of Randy Smiths ebook and sample sale page. Here John explains the different ways we can get testimonials for our ebook.  John Thornhill explains to us to use Clickbank, various forums and the Masterclass forum.  He explains the reason why someone would want to give you a testimonial and why they are important to you and the person leaving you the testimonial.  John also gives us some testimonials templates we can use.  Testimonial templates give our testimonials a good look.  John Thornhill instructs us to make a testimonial folder for these templates in our Masterclass folder.  He also tells us that when we do get testimonials to keep them in note pad and insert and keep them in our testimonial folder.  Then John Thornhill shows us how to edit the testimonial template we chose to our liking.

The Offer: Once again John instructs us to reread certain parts of Randy Smiths ebook and sample sale page.  When you are finished with all the previous parts of your sales page it’s time to make the offer.  When a person is reading your sales page you must create high value so the cost of your product will be perceived as high so when the offer comes around you can explain that even though the value of your product is high and the cost should be high the price is low.  When people read your sales page and you’ve done everything right and created high value and a high perceived cost and offer a low price the chances of making a sale is high.
