Your Own Custom Opt-in Box and Aweber

Hi everyone, it’s been a while.  I hope life finds everyone OK.  I’ve been keeping busy and want to show every one how I hooked up a custom opt-in box with Aweber but first I want to say I’ve been doing my best to stay in touch and be around.  I want to thank all those who have asked about me and are concerned.  It really means a lot to me.  I also want to thank all of you guys and gals who poke me on Facebook that also means a lot.  All this makes me feel like I haven’t been forgotten.  All you guys/gals are great.  As some of you know my dad passed away some time back and I’m still dealing with the loss.  I will always deal with the loss.  When someone you love is gone its not about trying to get over it.  It’s about learning how to deal with it so you can move on.  As I’ve been doing my best to stay around, it’s very hard and sad to read about others losing loved ones.  I extend my condolences to you all.

I’ve been working on this important health project because it only stands to reason that everyone should know about it.  I believe once you know what this powerful health information is you will feel compelled to help others as well.  Unlike the traditional ways of  marketing (yes I’m telling you up front) there is something for sale but if you don’t buy at least you get an important biology lesson and even an important marketing lesson.  The free report and valuable info e-mails I offer to all are a perfect example of educational marketing.  I’m not going to twist your arm to buy that much, just break it off :) seriously, what you do with the knowledge that you receive is up to you.  I want to educate you and present the health evidence/credentials from governing bodies.  Governing bodies? Something many don’t do because they can’t.  Yes there are clinical trails, but I’m not talking about that.  All I’m going to say is that pharmaceuticals are treated this way.  This is truly sound, makes a whole lot of sense health info and everyone should know about it.  This is all completely safe (no side effects), if you’re wondering.  If your immune system is strong, it can fight off or help deal with a lot of aliments.  There is so much I’m not telling you about so pop in your name and email address up top on the home page of this blog and find out what this enlightening, powerful health information is all about.

As a marketer I want to use my Internet marketing skills to bring this enlightening, powerful health information online so others can benefit.  I want to be clear this is still an Internet marketing blog, although I will be writing about important quality health issues from time to time.  As always, I’ll be letting you in on marketing issues so you can learn and do the same.

While working on this health project, I had bought this graphics package.  Within this package, I am using one of the opt-in boxes I fixed it up with Dreamweaver and Photo shop,  you can see the finished opt-in box on top of the home page of this blog.  Hooking it up with Aweber so Aweber can start my email sequence was easy.  The finding out about how do do it was hard.  Like everything else once you know how to do something it’s not so bad.  I didn’t want to use any of the opt-in boxes Aweber gives you.  A custom opt-in box looks so much more professional.  I want to share this video I made so if  you have a custom opt-in box you got from a designer, graphics package or even created yourself and want to hook it up with aweber, you won’t go crazy like I did.  I hope the video below helps you, saves you time and headaches.  I would suggest using the wide screen button on the bottom right of the video to get the best understanding.

I hope you got something out of this post and video, please do let us know by leaving your comments.  If you have a Twitter or Facebook account don’t forget to easily tweet and/or like.  Facebook me, Stumble me, social media me.  Please share using the buttons above or below if you found value here, thank you.

    Hi Terry,

Good to see you back mate. Like Mandy said, you’ve been missed ;)

Its also good to see you have started creating videos. Showing people how to get over these somewhat difficult tasks is always a benefit to people.

I had to edit an opt-in box myself a while back and was pretty lost by it all to be honest, could of done with your video then mate ;)

I ended up replacing the whole coding on the existing opt-in form and pulled in the images to Aweber and created the form that way. It took a bit longer but I got the job done :D

Best of luck with your health series Terry, it’s something we all need to take in.

    Take care mate,

    Hi Terry,

Great to have you back and I wish I could say I don’t know what you’re going through but I know it all too well. I lost my Dad nine years ago and it’s still rough on me at times. I actually lost a close friend just a few weeks ago and it brought all of that back up to the surface so I know how hard that is to deal with. Just glad you are on the road back.

I have no doubt that the health information you’re working on will be very interesting. I’ve been learning a lot about that as well myself and am in such a better place now.

I started to watch your video but for some reason it’s just not cooperating with me today. But since I should be getting a new custom opt-in box soon, if the guy ever finishes it, I’ll come back to this post because I’ll need to know how to incorporate that into Aweber. So, I’ll be back Terry.

Have a good week okay and thanks again.

    Terry,

It is great to see you back.

You are right it is not about getting over it when you lose someone who you love it is about learning to live without them and over time you just do not think about them every minute of every day which makes it easier.

Good to see you making videos.

I have done a couple of those optin boxes where I had to change the code like that but fortunately when I did it someone was walking me through it.

I will definitely keep this video in mind for the next time I need to do that.

Great information and I am going to check out your health report also.

You are right about the signs. A few months back he came to me in my dream and said he was sorry he left without saying goodbye (it was a sudden death) and that he loves me and will be looking out for me.

We have workers here very early in the morning working on the house and yesterday after they left my son and I went outside and I spotted this matchbox truck and trailer on the side of the dumpster. We looked at it and I didn’t remember it, but my son sort of did and I guess it fell out of the rotted window, not sure. But, it started to storm this evening and I decided to put it on the porch so it wouldn’t blow in the dumpster but the trailer was heavy, so I looked inside and there were a ton of nuts and washers. I asked my son about it when he got home and he says it probably was from Gene – he said do you remember when I used to take my toys down there to play with him – wow! Yeah and the tape we recognized – that was a really cool sign, let me tell ya!!

Anyway, hope you are doing well, Terry and I am sure we will speak soon :)

On the last day of my dad’s funeral at the funeral home when we were leaving and opened the back door there was this big beautiful colorful Monarch butterfly that just took off and started flying around us and left. Outside right behind the wall where my dad was at rest! I will never forget that. Wow! Dad also came to me in my dreams.

I’m not trying to make it sound easy but stay strong Linda, do the best you can to have a peaceful happy feeling inside, catch you later :)

As I said on my other blog it’s great to see you back in the swing of things after your sad loss. My own father died suddenly when he was my age so it makes you think about life and what’s important. I have always said ‘Health Is Wealth’.

So many of the old blogging crew have left the scene which is a shame but they must have their reasons.

I like the look of your opt-in box and I know it goes against all the advice but I don’t have a list and don’t want one. I am past wanting lots of money, if I make a few dollars online, I will be happy with that, leisure is more important to me now.

Sorry to hear about your loss Terry,

Things can be really hard and tough if you don’t know how to deal with the loss of a loved one. But yes, even if you do learn to cope or deal with it, we keep missing them. I guess they have always been around and an integral part of us for so many years, and just to have them no more around us can break us.

I lost my mom long ago, and I miss her physical presence and all that we would share together as mother and daughter. But yes, I feel her strong presence always around me. I think our loved ones don’t really leave us, but turn into our guardian angels and are always around.

Information shared about the opt-in box is new to me, though I wasn’t able to fully view the video due to some error that keeps coming up. I guess would come over again and try it later.

    Thanks for sharing. :)

  17. Hi Terry, It is the first time I’m on your blog. I’m am sorry for your loss. It was a year ago when I lost my father-in-law. We took care of him for 7 months in our home under hospice care. He was a man who was frightened of hospitals. The good thing is that my husband and I are internet marketer so we did the care-taking while working in the same room. That was a blessing.

Although we went through a lot those months, his last day was still a shock. Time does heal all wounds.

I enjoyed your video. I am all thumbs when it comes to this. My husband takes care of that part of my business, so I book-marked this so he can apply it.

I am looking forward to reading your blog.
    Blessings,

  18. Hi Terry,

First, I am really sorry about your dad. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I enjoyed your step-by-step video tutorial. It’s always great to see things done visually. Especially when coding is involved. I always get a bit nervous when I have to deal with code. But you explained it beautifully. Thanks!

    Have a great week!

    Hi Ilka,

Thanks for visiting here and your good words. I’m really happy to know that you found something that my seem hard, easy.

Many times I feel something that I don’t know about is going to be hard and it winds up being not so bad, even real easy.

Goes to show if you take action sometimes it’s not as bad as you think.

    Hi Terry

Its really great to hear from Man!!!
Hope you are well and its great to have you back.

I have been checking out your video…I love it!!!

I am always looking at new ways to do things but sometimes if it works I just make do as it is but this has given me the urge to make a few changes.

I have been having a little break myself with a few offline projects I am involved in and have not been blogging as much as I would like… :)

Also I been having a few health issues which I just cannot seem to shrug off and are still lingering on but that’s life.

Really glad to have you back :)
    Wishing you all the best.

    Regards
    Zahid

    Hey Zahid,

Thanks for stopping by. It’s so nice to have you here at my blog again. Welcome!!!

It feels so good sharing what I’ve learned about opt-in boxes. It feels even better when people such as yourself tell me they got something out of it.

So WoW to know you are going to make a few changes because of my video! That is Awesome!!

I wish you wellness always and the best with your offline projects and hope to see you online often. You’ve been missed,
